Here at Cambridge Marina,, we have vast experience hosting weddings and events with cultural and religious requirements and we fully understand the importance of certain cultures and their requirements. The large and airy Marquee is extremely versatile and can be zoned or opened up according to your requirements. Leading from the dedicated decked entrance area, the Riverside Suite has a feature bar and is perfect for drinks and mingling. This area leads onto the vast Marquee which can accommodate 300+ guests on round tables, with room for entertainment and a dance floor.

FAQs

Understanding the importance of ceremonial customs associated with certain religions is vital. For example, the installation of a traditional mandap, chuppah or Nikah partition can be arranged, and we have an area set aside for guests to change.
We have an extensive selection of trusted associates but are equally happy to work with suppliers of your choosing. You will have the option of a dry hire or stocked bar and our team can give suggestions based on the many weddings we have hosted.
Expressing your cultural symbolism to the full is the order of the day! From a boat adorned with jasmine, rose and marigold, to a performance by a troupe of vibrant dancers, we will always try to accommodate your wishes. A traditional fire pit is permitted but due to safety constraints other fire elements such as fireworks and sky lanterns are prohibited. Candles in hurricane vases may be used at the reception subject to approval.
Large capacity, ample parking, extensive kitchen facilities, changing facilities and a highly experienced team are just a few aspects of Cambridge Marina which make it a great choice of venue.
The earlier the better! A well-planned event is better not rushed. By talking through your wishes with one of our event coordinators they will be able to give you some idea of the time it will take to organise your wedding and offer expert guidance along the way. We aim to de-stress the planning phase so that you can enjoy every step of the journey.
