Everyone has events that should be celebrated; an anniversary, one of those birthdays that end in 0, a family get-together, an awards ceremony to reward achievement, an annual dinner-dance for your association or group. And you need somewhere that people will remember to make that memory precious and long-lasting.

Cambridge Marina gives you a top class venue

Whether you have 40 guests or 400, you’ll have a memorable event. With fabulous menus to choose from, flexible spaces to accommodate your event and a range of additional services, you can be sure everyone will have a wonderful time.

How many guests?

You can invite 400+ guests and sit comfortably in our fabulous marquee. You choose your layout, with a dance floor that can be located wherever you want it.

Catering

You can choose to work with our Executive Chef on a sumptuous menu for your guests or bring in caterers from our preferred list.

Parking

There is a large car park and overflow car parking to accommodate all your guests.

Professional presentation

You can have a platform or a dance floor, and there’s a full in-house AV production system to make your celebration perfectly professional.

Stay over

There are 14 beautiful rooms, including family rooms for your guests. There are more rooms being added and further plans for additional accommodation in the future.

Extraordinary extras

And it’s all set against the river flowing by, huge expanses of green lawn, surrounded by a nature reserve, with attentive staff who are ready to make your event amazing.

Birthdays and anniversaries

Baby showers

A new arrival is always a joyous celebration. Where better to bring your friends and family than a nature reserve in tranquil surroundings to celebrate that new addition to your family.

Festivals

Covering over 70 acres and set against the river flowing by, Cambridge Marina is the ideal place to host your festival. Whether it's for a small or large festival we can cater for all.

Stay with us

The original building, that is now the Pike & Eel pub-restaurant-hotel was built in 1608. You can still see the priest’s hole, in the private dining room, where the Catholic priests escaped underground to avoid persecution. Until the mid-1999s the original building was owned by the Bygraves family. John Stafferton, the son-in-law of the Mr Bygraves, ran the pub and eventually bought out his brother-in-law at the end of the 1980s. Under his care the restaurant was built and the Pike & Eel became known for offering food as well as a place to relax and enjoy a pint.
