With over 17 acres of grounds in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our wedding marquee offers flexible spaces, direct outdoor access, and a stunning backdrop for your photography.

Packages are available to suit all requirements and scales of wedding. With our dedicated weddings team working closely with you, you can choose, plan and budget for every aspect of the day. From Catering to cakes, dry hire to car hire, and everything else besides our experienced team will guide you through the decision-making process and team you up with some of the best supply businesses in the area using our tried and tested preferred partner list.

Your day…your way

We are licensed to hold weddings and civil partnerships in both the luxury events marquee with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and our little private island, directly in front of the marquee and accessed by a beautiful wooden bridge. The charm and intimacy of the island is perfect if you have your heart set on an outdoor ceremony. And for the ultimate entrance – why not arrive by boat!

Seating over 350 guests, the marquee has all the facilities for you to host a large wedding reception but can easily be zoned so that only part of the marquee is used, making the space inviting and intimate. The perfect canvas to decorate in your chosen theme, the marquee can be transformed to reflect your individuality.  By day beautiful, airy, and light, it evolves as the ceremony leads on to dining, speeches and dancing the evening away beneath the starlit ceiling.

Extend your stay and enjoy a mini break…

Set well away from the road and surrounded by Fenland nature reserve, The Pike & Eel and its marina are a haven of tranquillity and the perfect base for exploring the waterways of Cambridgeshire. Steeped in history, records go back as far as the 1500s, but this area was connected with significant historical events as early as the Roman conquest. Known as Overcote ferry, for hundreds of years people have crossed the river here, cutting short what would have been a 10-mile round trip to reach the other side by road.

Crisscrossed by ancient timeworn paths, Cambridge Marina is the perfect wedding location in which to stay awhile and enjoy the great outdoors with loved ones. Take a walk along the river to the west and you will pass the Anglo-Saxon village of Holywell or stroll along the riverbank to the east and you will come across a stone column indicating the site of the Prime Meridian, the historic meridian line that demarcates the eastern and western hemispheres.

By extending your perfect day you can really make the most of spending time with friends and family and make the occasion even more memorable.
